Thank you for supporting the Ryder-Cheshire Foundation

Our services rely on the financial help of others so that these services can continue to serve their residents and local communities.

Where You Can GIVE

We are currently fundraising for four projects where the need is greatest:

  1. The Milk Project at Raphael in India. Raphael provides milk daily to its residents and patients as part of a balanced diet to improve their nutrition and health. The Milk Project has been funded by the Ryder-Cheshire Foundation in New Zealand since the project began in 2008. It costs $10,000 per year.

  2. The TB wards at Klibur Domin in Timor-Leste. The Ryder-Cheshire Foundation in New Zealand provided the $50,000 needed to help build a second TB ward. We help fund the treatment of the increasing number of patients with Multi Drug Resistant Tuberculosis.

  3. Supporting families raising children with disabilities. The John Hunt Outreach programme works with families raising children with special needs who live in remote rural areas of Northern India. Founded by a Kiwi, we will continue to provide any financial support we can.

  4. Mental health services in Timor-Leste. Large numbers of sufferers without support wander the streets aimlessly. They have no proper accommodation, food, clothing or medication. We are helping fund a facility that cares for them until they are well enough to support themselves.

If you would like more information about any of these projects, please email us at rcfnz@outlook.com

Have You Considered Leaving a Bequest?

A bequest is a way to make a donation to the Ryder-Cheshire Foundation which you can include in your Will to benefit the children and adults that we support at our centres.

A bequest may include a percentage, a specific sum, or the residue of an estate.

If you already have a Will in place, a Codicil is an amendment to an existing Will in which you can convey your instructions for a bequest to the Ryder-Cheshire Foundation Incorporated.

If you wish you can advise of a certain project that you would like the bequest to fund.
